Llanelli Players take over Toad Hall!
Â
Ratty, Mole, Badger and Toad will be bringing their riverbank adventures to Theatr Elli next month as The Llanelli Muscial Players (LMP) perform the Wind in the Willows. Â
It’s described as a delightful dramatisation with enchanting songs, of Kenneth Grahame’s classic tale of river-bank animals. Toad finds himself in prison but manages to escape, but not before Toad Hall, his pride and joy, has been overrun by the wicked Weasels.
Thanks to the efforts of his kind and concerned friends, all ends happily after an exciting battle to regain Toad’s home.
Helen Jones of LMP said:
“In this production the youth of LMP take on the lead roles of those much loved characters. As a company we have been overwhelmed by the talent of the young people and thought they should have an opportunity to lead a production.”
“Also all 50 plus of them have learnt tap dancing for a big scene and we are extremely proud of them!”
“It’s a fantastic show for all the family.”
