Burry Port Christmas Lights switch on

This Friday (25th November) sees the turn of Burry Port to take Christmas centre stage as they switch on their lights.

The switch on in Memorial Square, sees Burry Port Town Band leading a parade of children and Father Christmas and leaves the  Royal British Legion at 4pm.

The lights will be switched on around 4.30pm by Cllr Geoff Thomas Mayor of Pembrey and Burry Port accompanied by representatives of sponsors Talk Talk and Beach Break Live.

There’s also a Carol Service and dedication by the Rev. Paul Davies Vicar of St Mary’s Church Burry Port and Burry Port Male Voice Choir will be in attendance at the service.

After the Carol Service, there’s a Christmas Fair in the Memorial Hall with Father Christmas’ grotto, Charity Stalls, hot food, entertainment, teas coffees.
