They’re having a quacking time this Christmas at the WWT

by Chris Ridgway

There’s a lot going on at Llanelli’s Wildfowl and Wetland Centre at this time of year. So much so, that they are opening seven days a week from 9 till 5.30 throughout the Christmas holidays (except Christmas Day & Eve).

From snow goose walks, or Nordic Walking for the more energetic to craft workshops, bird box making and painting.  There’s something for all the family.

To top it all there’ll even be a chance to feed the birds with Santa!

Eleanor Keatley, Office Manager said:

“There’s a chance to see an amazing spectacle, that of thousands of starlings coming in to roost. Footage of this sight was shown last week on the BBC news and S4C!”

“It’s a magical specticle”.
