Pembrey gets all festive
Pembrey had a feast of community fun on Thursday, with a fete and open day at the Pembrey Cylch Meithrin nursery followed by later on in the day, the official lighting of the Christmas Tree.

The celebrations in the Village Square were followed by a fete in the local Junior School.
Both events were well attended, with the community showing their support by coming out in force. Festivities included raffles, competitions, face painting, and stalls with a variety of homemade products and produce.
Carols were sung by local school children supported by the town band and of course Santa was on hand to assist with the lighting of the Christmas Tree.
Cylch Meithrin committee member and secretary Julie Ridgway said:
‘It’s been a thoroughly successful day and I’d like to thank everyone for coming and the support they have shown”.
