A Christmas message from Llanelli Rural Council
As Chairman of Llanelli Rural Council, I am pleased to have this opportunity to convey to you my sincere good wishes for Christmas and the New Year. I hope with all my heart that 2012 will bring hope where there has been despair, joy where there has been sadness, love where there has been hate and peace where there has been unrest.
On reflection, 2011 has passed by with little comfort for those in need, for those who have been unemployed for a great length of time and those who are old or unwell. This Christmas let us remember those who are needy, unwell or disabled, those without homes and without hope, those who are in the Armed Forces serving for our country. Let us pray that with the coming of the New Year they may find some light at the end of their tunnel.
We as leaders of the community must not become complacent and we must be constantly reminded of our duties. So, as we prepare for the festivities let us not forget such people in our midst.
Dymuniadau gwresocaf a diffuant am Nadolig ac am y Flwyddyn Newydd.
Cllr. Susan N. Lewis
Chairman, Llanelli Rural Council
