G & T Safer Community Awards, nominations sought

Nominations for this year’s Glanymor and Tyisha Community Safety Awards and Presentation Evening are now being accepted.

 

The evening will take place on Thursday 22nd March in the Lliedi Suite at the Selwyn Samuel Centre at 6:00pm and is once again sponsored by the Community Safety Partnership and CCC Housing Department. Categories include;

  • Community Safety Resident/Tenant

  • Community Safety School

  • Crossing Patrol Person

  • Neighbourhood Policing Officer

  • Young Community Safety Champion

  • Community Safety Champion

This year we have a new category “Chair person’s Choice”. This category is for the chairperson to recognise individual/group/association whom they feel has made a special contribution to the community.

Please note, you can nominate in each category. Nominees should be for individuals/schools that reside within Glanymor and Tyisha. Neighbourhood policing officers and crossing patrol nominees should be working within Glanymor and Tyisha.

Nominations can be given to Joanne Yeo or to Karen Gibbard at Communities First Glanymor and Tyisha, 26/28 Inkerman Street , Llanelli, SA15 1SA by Friday 10th February.
