Free Welsh Taster Session

For anyone who isn’t sure whether to study a part-time A Level in Welsh, the National Trust and Coleg Sir Gâr are hosting a free taster session at Newton House in Dinefwr Park.

“Learners of all levels are welcome,” said course tutor Rhian Jones. “We’re running this session for second language speakers, as part of the National Trust’s Welsh Week being held in February and we hope it will give people more confidence to study the language and within an A Level structure.

“Being bilingual in Wales offers many benefits and opens up more opportunities for those who can speak two languages.”

The taster session is being held on 13 February from 10am-12pm at Newton House in Llandeilo. To register or for further information, please contact Rhian Jones on 07971 424504 or rhianejones@colegsirgar.ac.uk.
