Stronger Voices Conference
The Carmarthenshire Disability Coalition for Action is holding a conference on 23rd March 2012.
The event will be held at The Princess Gwenllian Centre, Kidwelly, and is to start at 10am and finish by 4pm.
The purpose of the event is to promote and increase the membership of the coalition so that they have a stronger voice in Carmarthenshire. This will enable them to advise and negotiate with the council on everyone’s behalf so that they have a safe, accessible and equal environment to go about their day to day living.
The conference will have an independent speaker and a senior officer from within the council. The invited speakers will outline the benefits of a stronger coalition for all disabled people and service providers. There will be an opportunity for networking with other groups and services.
