Petition goes to Senedd
A PETITION launched by Plaid to save Llanelli’s A&E unit will be presented to the Welsh Government on Wednesday, March 7.
Residents are being encouraged to accompany councillors and supporters on free buses, which will be running from Llanelli to Cardiff.
It is hoped the petition, which has attracted more than 6,000 signatures, will be presented to the Health Minister outside the Senedd. The buses are expected to leave from the side of Llanelli Town Hall at around 10am.
Glanymor ward councillor Winston Lemon said: “This is a cross-party event, so anyone can come along.”
Anyone who would like to reserve a place can call Mr Lemon on 07791118229 or ask at the Plaid office.
