Local artists exhibit Canadian adventure
An exhibition of Photographic artwork will be on display at the Black Mountain Centre  from 31st March until 28th April.

The exhibition, titled ‘3 Months, 2 Cameras, 1 Island’, is a photographic representation of a journey taken by two local artists on Vancouver Island, a large island off the west coast of Canada.
The whole exhibition forms a photographic journal of the adventure.
The exhibition is a collection of approximately 30 images, taken using both film and digital image capturing techniques.
The artists, Johnathan Davies and Kimberley Collins, from Tumble, are both students of Coleg Sir Gar, with Johnathan on the final year of a BA (Hons) in Photography, and Kimberley on the second year of a BA (Hons) in Fine Art Sculpture.
They both incorporate the theme of travel in their work, and combine their love of adventure with their love of art to create pieces that show a unique perspective on the world. The exhibition shows the artists ability to capture the natural beauty of an area, but also the social and cultural aspects.
Entry to the Centre is free, and is open Monday – Friday, 9am to 5 pm and Saturday, 9 am to 12 pm.
