Communities First Bigyn 4 news (we 18th March 2012)

“Options” Training will also be delivering a workshop on Friday March 23 from 10-12pm at the Community of Christ Church, Trostre Road.

The workshop is entitled “Practice What We Preach”. There will be role play, interviews and assessments. This workshop explores interview techniques for creating a good first impression. The workshop is FREE and light refreshments are provided. WE ALSO PROVIDE FREE CHILDCARE

The above workshop is part of the “Re-Start”, back to work program which covers CV writing skills, interview tips, creating good impressions, and where to go next. If you are interested please contact Jenna or Amanda on the number below.

Next FREE Welsh Class Tuesday March 27 between 6–8pm at the Community of Christ Church.

On March 22 between 1.30-3.00pm Llanelli Befriending Links will be meeting, for a session of “Reminiscence Therapy” – all are welcome.

The next meeting of the Open Partnership will take place on Wednesday, 21st March at 5.30pm, at the Community of Christ Church.

There’s a Bring and Take skip day on the Friday 16th in the car park in Penyfan Park.  Residents can get rid of their unwanted items and exchange for others that have been dropped off.  No car batteries, tyres, chemicals or building materials. 10 am till 12 pm.  

If any resident has any environment issues or concerns, then they can report them to Councillor David Skivington every Thursday from 10 till 12 in the Portacabin. Also available there are Blue and Green recycling bags.  The blue bags are free but there is a charge for green ones.
