Cooks get rewarded with Police grant

Llanelli Centre Project has received a windfall in the form of a cheque for £935 thanks to Dyfed Powys Police.

The money has come from the force’s incentivisation fund, which is made up of money that’s been recovered as proceeds of crime from convicted criminals and is then ploughed back into our local communities.

Llanelli Centre Project is a centre which engages with young people and teaches them new skills. The facility also runs courses to help young people, and teaches them to become more independent.

The money will be spend on providing equipment to help with their cooking programme.
