Motorcycles stolen from garage in Swiss Valley
Two motorcycles worth around £1000 have been stolen from a secure garage in the Swiss Valley area of Llanelli some time between Friday 30th March and Wednesday 18th April 2012.
The garage at Llandyri Garages was broken into while the owner was on holiday.
“This area is quite secluded, and isn’t very well lit,” said PC Karen Rees, who is investigating the crime. “But the garage was well secured and someone has gone there with the intention of stealing.
“I’d ask anyone who saw anything suspicious in this area to please come forward and also to let us know if they have seen this bike, or possibly been offered it for sale. It’s quite distinctive, and won’t be so easy to sell on.
“These bikes aren’t particularly valuable but they hold sentimental value for the owners, who would like to see them returned.
“We are also investigating a break in of a secure garage behind Coronation Road in Llanelli. This happened some time between 5pm on Friday 27th April and 11am on Sunday 29th April.
“On this occasion a punch bag, some hand tools, a mini chest freezer and two BMX children’s bikes were taken, along with some electric power tools.”
