Children Enjoy Storytime at Llanelli Library
Young pupils from Ysgol Ffwrnes have visited Llanelli Children’s Library for a Handa’s Surprise story session.
Children from the reception classes acted out parts of the well-known story by author Eileen Browne using animal masks and other items from a story sack before taking the opportunity to browse through the books in the newly-refurbished library. Children’s Librarian, Catrin Simon, said: “The pupils were really enthusiastic about the story as they have been reading it at school this term. “It is always wonderful to welcome school classes here and to see so many children getting pleasure from books and stories in this lovely new space.â€
Llanelli Library is open from Monday to Saturday for books, DVDs, CDs, IT facilities and more. Call 01554 773538 for further information.
