Anti-social Behaviour addressed by Police officers at latest Pact meeting for Elli/Lliedi ward

Anti-social behaviour has been top of the agenda for Police officers who attended this month’s PACT meeting in the Elli / Llieid ward.

Updates were given to those who attended of foot patrols which took place resulting in alcohol being seized from a group of youths and three Anti-social behaviour referrals being made.

In total seventeen stop searches were conducted by the team on pro-active patrols and there was one drug arrest.

Among other issues raised were concerns of people having their plants and garden ornaments removed from their garden. It was agreed that Crime prevention advice was needed to some residents to address the issue.

And around Old Castle Road concerns were raised about young people using the rear lanes to drink alcohol and cause general anti-social behaviour. Officers will now monitor the area for anyone riding a motorbike on the footpath and take appropriate action.
