New Theater gets a Green 5000 Gallon water tank
A 5,000-gallon rainwater gathering tank has been sunk beneath the roadway in front of the Y Ffwrnes development.
The water gathering tank delivers a green statement ensuring that scores of toilet facilities within the new project can be flushed without demand on mains water supply.

TRJ contractors Y Ffwrnes project manager Phil Godridge said the water saving system was one of many environmental initiatives on the site ensuring a green message was ensured in the deliverance and future use of the theatre complex.
Y Ffwrnes is a cultural and creative centre for entertainment and the arts due for completion by the end of 2012.
It’s a £15-million development that has been funded by the European Regional Development Fund, the Welsh Government, Carmarthenshire Council and Trinity St David University.
The development in progress is at the heart of Llanelli town centre sitting alongside and complementing the £26-million East Gate leisure development.
It will be a new purpose built theatre with flexible space for a wide range of community and professional events and activities. It will also house a studio theatre, office space and a social enterprise centre, which will be created in the grade II listed former chapel buildings known as the Zion Chapel and Old Sunday School.
