Post Box for Machynys
A new Community Post Box is to be installed at Machynys in the Glanymor Community.
Glanymor Community Activist Sean Rees received a number of concerns from local residents stressing that the current system of postal
service provision in the area was inadequate for their needs.
After contacting the Royal Mail, Sean Rees received confirmation from the Royal Mail saying they are awaiting correspondence from
their ROMEC engineers but will be installing a Post Box on the corner of Bwlchygwynt in Machynys Bay and hopefully in the next couple of
weeks.
Sean Rees said: “This is great news for the community and I am delighted for local residents at Machynys and Pentre Nicklaus who will now benefit
from a Community Post Box facility on their doorstep; I welcome and fully endorse the decision of Royal Mail to establish the Post Box as Machynys is a
constant developing area and this will improve accessibility to such a vital Community service”.
