Companies congratulate aspiring engineers
Engineering companies in Carmarthenshire have been supporting the aspirations of its future workforce in an awards ceremony held in Llanelli.
Student engineers and apprentices were recognised for their studies at an awards evening held at Coleg Sir Gâr’s Graig campus. “The engineering section has long-established links with employers in the area,” said head of section, Adam Twells. “They are a key part of our students’ development as trainers, mentors and employers.
“Through collaborative working we’re ensuring we’re providing a level of education and work-based learning opportunities which are industry-led.”
A range of awards were presented for a number of skills including, mechanical, welding, electrical and best schools link pupil.
