Llandybie Computer Fraud
Ammanford police are investigating a computer fraud when the victim residing in Llandybie received a telephone call from “Insta PC Care” and that Microsoft had been monitoring his computer.
The caller demanded a payment of £143 otherwise the computer would be closed down. The victim released his bank details and paid £143. The victim also allowed the caller to have access to his computer
This is a scam. There has been two other similar calls in Carmarthenshire. Any calls of this nature, please do not release personal details.
