Beware: Voucher Scam!
Carmarthen police are investigating a UKCASH voucher fraud when the victim residing in Carmarthen received a telephone call from a “Victor Baul” and he stated that £4,000 was waiting from a PPI claim.
The caller requested that the victim purchase £400.00 worth of UKCASH vouchers. The caller stated that once the vouchers were purchased then the company would be able to send a solicitor to drop off the cheque.
This is a scam. There has been two other similar calls in Carmarthenshire. Any calls of this nature, please do not release personal details. Contact Carmarthen Police on 101.
