New recruit and promotion at Llanelli construction firm

Stewart Ayers has joined the Llanelli based construction firm Morganstone as senior quantity surveyor.

Stewart, 51, has moved from WRW Construction.

Educated at Dynevor School, Swansea, and with a BSc honours in quantity surveying from the University of Glamorgan, Stewart has also worked for Sharpe and Ayers and Jistcourt builders.

Stewart said: “I am looking forward to playing my part in the Morganstone team and helping to make sure the firm is in the vanguard when it comes to delivering quality construction projects.”

Morganstone managing director Ian Morgan said: “We are delighted to see Stewart joining us here at Morganstone. I am sure he will make a significant contribution to the success of the business.”

Morganstone managing director Ian Morgan with Nick MorganNick Morgan has also been promoted to a new role with the firm.

Nick, 37, has moved up the ladder to contracts supervisor from groundwork contracts manager after just seven months with the go-ahead firm.

Before joining Morganstone, Nick ran his own construction business, which provided him with a wealth of experience in the industry.

Nick said: “I am looking forward to my new role and playing a part in making sure Morganstone is in the vanguard when it comes to delivering quality construction projects.”
