Burry Port Memorial Park Committee are extending an invitation to all local groups, clubs and individuals to make full use of the MUGA (Multi Use Games Area) at the park.
Following completion of the renovated park in July 2012, when the Park Committee were successful in securing £270,000 in grant funding, they have since been busy raising awareness and encouraging as many people as possible to use the facilities available.
As well as a fun sports event for under 10’s on Sunday 24th February 2013, 2pm in the Memorial Hall, the Park Committee is developing a timetable of activities for the MUGA. They are keen to attract users of all ages, young and old, to use the MUGA throughout the week, daytime and evenings.
