Jeff White arrived at Stebonheath Park this evening (Wednesday 30th January) to agree to become manager Bob Jeffrey’s eighth signing of the transfer window, with just over 24 hours to go.
Jeff aged 27, will sign on deadline day from Port Talbot Town and with provide the Reds with more fire-power upfront following the loss of Martin Rose and Luke Bowen and Port Talbot and Port Melbourne Sharks respectively. Jeff joined Port Talbot at the start of the season, moving from Welsh League Division Three side Bridgend Street and has played 20 Welsh Premier games this season, finding the net on 7 occasions, proving to be an excellent target man at Welsh Premier level.
Jeff has previously played for Rhoose FC in the South Wales Amateur League as well as representing the South Wales FA. He has come to the Welsh Premier League midway through his career but will be determined to build on the excellent progress he has made at Port Talbot Town this season by firing the goals for the Reds.
