Youngsters can spring into action with a host of fun activities and FREE entry at the National Botanic Garden of Wales this half term (Feb 11-15).
There’s a chance to get sowing and growing; concocting potions and lotions; and making lovely things for your own garden, with the help of gardeners, craft-makers and herbalists.
There will be something going on Monday to Friday (February 11-15) throughout the half term week – and there’s a special Family Fun Day on the Wednesday (Feb 13) in partnership with Menter Cwm Gwendraeth, which features face-painting, dancing, arts, crafts and a treasure hunt.
The Botanic Garden is also focusing on bird-watching over the weekend of February 16-17 with the help of experts from RSPB Cymru and the British Trust for Ornithology. There will be two guided walks per day on the Saturday (16th) and Sunday (17th) around the Garden and the Waun Las National Nature Reserve.
