HBA-24W – 27th July 2013

HBA is organising the non-stop 24hr waking challenge that could see its participants covering a distance of 100km and maybe up to 75 miles.

The HBA-24W is a challenge totally dedicated to raising funds for the west Wales charity … the Ray Gravell & Friends Charitable Trust. Established in memory of one of Wales’ greatest ambassadors, Ray Gravell, the Trust supports causes and individuals in West Wales that we know would have been close to his heart …..

Only a very small number of people will be allowed to enter the challenge (… up to 20), and each must be sure they can complete it.

The event will start and finish at Parc y Scarlets and all the participants will be walking in the same group for the duration of the challenge.

Each of the participants will be given a FREE HBA-24W tech-top to wear while walking and a special award will be given to each when they finish. Additionally all finishers will be treated to a FREE Sunday dinner and a beer or two at the Soul Cafe in Parc y Scarlets.

HOWEVER … we do ask that each person chosen to enter raises as much funds as possible for the charity.

This challenge is very important to the HBA team and as such the founder of Human Being Active – Tim Gasser will be one of the participants.

Tim will lead the charity walkers over the Llanelli course which will take them as far north as Cross Hands, west to Kidwelly and east to Loughor.

Support will be provided throughout the challenge but all walkers should take with them suitable supplies; (… this info will be provided when your entry is accepted).

Ray would be very proud of such a challenge and we hope you will support us.
