The A48 has reopened following a fatal road traffic collision earlier this morning in which a 26 year old died.
Police were called to the scene of the collision shortly before six o’clock this morning on the eastbound carriageway at the Maesybont junction.
Two heavy goods vehicles were involved. Sadly, the driver of one of them died following the collision.
Investigators have been at the scene through out the morning carrying out their inquiries.
Again, officers appeal for anyone who might have been travelling in this vicinity at the appropriate time and has information which could help with inquiries to please contact officers at Carmarthen Police Station on 101.
