THE 50+ Forum annual event at the brand new state of the art Y Ffwrnes theatre in Llanelli’s East Gate development was attended by more than 350 people.
The event featured a performance by Fedwen Theatre on Internet crime, as well as other productions, as part of a wide ranging overall programme.
Carmarthenshire County Council assistant chief executive Chris Burns welcomed everyone to the event and the council’s 50+ Champion Cllr Tegwen Devichand spoke on working in partnership within the Forum.
Vice chair of the Forum John Tonen spoke of its achievements and working forward, Commissioner for Older People Sarah Rochira spoke on the issues facing older people in Wales.
