Police are appealing to residents in Burry Port to be alert and vigilant for any suspicious behaviour following two burglaries along Gwscwm Road.

“Two homes were burgled on Wednesday 8th May, one between 9.15am and 6.45pm and the other between 8.15 am and 9.15pm,” said Sergeant Stuart Bell. “There are similar elements to both burglaries and our inquiries are ongoing to find those responsible.

“We are asking the local residents for their help in doing this. If you can be vigilant in your area, and report to us anything which you think is suspicious. It may be a person seen loitering somewhere, or a strange vehicle driving around your area. Please call us on 101 and report your concerns. You know your neighbourhoods and know when something is not right, so please get in touch.”
