The next Llanelli Music Scene’s Band of the Month Night is being held on Saturday 29th June at the Kilkenny Cat from 7.30pm.
The event is aimed at promoting local music talent in the area and the three bands who are set to rock the Cat include-
Searching For David are a four piece Rock band from Llanelli. Made up from former members of This Trophy Life, Burn The Hive and Skint. Their various influences have all come together to bring a refreshing upbeat sound that is sure to rock your socks off.The various influences that can be heard within their sound have shades of Heavy Rock and Punk with a very melodic overtone. Crashing Upbeat Drums, Belting Baselines, Gritty Guitar licks with a melody that seams it all together to create what is their truly original sound.

who are set to play their second Llanelli Music Scene gig at the Cat on 29th June. A Sudden Disturbance (ASD) call themselves a Dark Rock band, started a few years ago with Mike Valo on vocals, Keith Evans on guitar, and Dean Davies on bass. ASD has performed live across Wales, and are currently working towards recording a self made EP full of original set providing an innovative blend of rock with haunting yet pretty guitar effects topped with dark vocals. With a mix of influences and a passion for music, every performance contains a few surprises along the way, and is a show not to be missed!!!

Naked Ape Society who are set to play their first ever gig in Llanelli at the Cat
Formed in December 2012 “Naked Ape Society” are a new 3 piece band based in the UK with members from both South Wales and Dublin. The band have just completed their debut 6 track E.P. “Manifesto Audio” available as a FREE download from the link below. Take a listen and come and see them play at the Cat on Saturday night at around 9.45pm.
