The Tywi Centre in Llandeilo is hosting a Sustainable Buildings Fair to help people find out about energy efficiency in old buildings, natural building products, insulation and energy conservation and renewable energy.
Visitors will be able to enjoy demonstrations, workshops, informative walks with the National Trust and exhibits and information from local suppliers of renewable energy technologies.
Information will also be available on appropriate maintenance and repair of old buildings.
The Tywi Centre celebrates the heritage of Wales and works to make it better understood and maintained. Situated in one of the most important historic landscapes in Wales, the Centre works to develop a better understanding of the landscape and to promote appropriate skills needed to look after it.
The Carmarthenshire Heritage Centre of Excellence, through the Tywi Centre, regularly hosts a series of short courses aimed at rediscovering and developing the traditional skills needed to preserve and enhance our built and natural heritage.
