Valley Folk Club is hosting an ‘Open Night’ this coming friday,the 5th July, at 8pm in the upstairs room of the Ivy Bush on Brecon Road, Pontardawe.
Anyone is welcome to come along and sing, play, read a poem, harmonise or sit back and listen!
Entry at the door is £2 and that includes a raffle ticket.
All kinds of music and the occasional poem will be on offer and you could hear for example a Tex Mex border ballad, a Welsh love song, a rousing traditional chorus song from the British isles or even a song composed just last week!
If Jose arrives we may even get to hear an exquisite fado from Portugal.
Also don’t forget that the wonderful Graham Larkeby will be appearing alive and singing on friday the 19th July. It will be a great night!
