A drugs warrant executed by detectives at an address in Ferry Road Kidwelly on Thursday 12th September has resulted in the seizure of a substantial quantity of controlled drugs. One person was arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply both cannabis and amphetamine.
A 49 year old local woman has been bailed pending further inquiries.
Chief Insp Pete Westlake said ‘It is a tremendous result that positive enforcement action has taken such a large amount of drugs off the streets of our communities. We are waiting for analysis of the items seized, and once we have that information we will look to charge offenders to court’.
