Llanelli Town AFC host Newport Civil Service this coming Friday at Stebonheath Park, kick off 7.45pm and are appealing for extra support to help kick-start their campaign in the Nathaniel Cars Welsh Football League Division Three.

With a quarter of the season gone, the Reds have to start winning if they are going to be in the run-in at the end of the season and have a vital run of three games coming up to get their season up and running.

Assistant Manager Gary Lloyd said this week:

“Newport Civil Service is a game we need to start turning promising performances into a 90 minute show. Only Barry have worried us this season, we should have picked up more points than we have to be honest, but we can’t keep on blaming bad luck, referee decisions, injuries etc.”

“We need to turn our potential into complete displays and it needs to start this Friday. We hope to have a big crowd at Stebo which will help our players, we cant complain about the support so far, its been superb on Friday nights with lots of Carmarthenhire League players getting behind the local boys in our team.”

“We have had four gates over 200, so lets hope we can say we have had our first 300+ gate after the game on Friday to go with a much needed three points. We will be well set up then to continue the progress with our trip to Newcastle Emlyn on the 13th November and the visit of Pontypridd Town to Stebo on Saturday 16th.”

“We have an honest group of players and I just want them all to do well and make something of the season. I really hope it all comes together this Friday on and off the field, we need the towns support.”
