Police investigate robbery in Stepney Place, Llanelli

Detectives are appealing for information after a robbery took place on Stepney Place at around 9.20pm on Thursday 7th November.

A woman was assaulted and had her handbag snatched.

“We have been given a description of the individual involved in this and we are progressing our inquiries this morning to try and find him,” said Detective Sergeant Andrew Davies.

“The victim has described a man who is about five foot six, of slim build and with short, dark hair,” said DS Davies.

She also described him as wearing a light grey-coloured hooded jacket, and that he was “dark skinned”.

“I would ask that anyone in this area at the appropriate time last night and who may have seen something that could help with our inquiries to please contact us at CID in Llanelli on 101.”
