Police investigating a fatal road traffic collision are appealing for witnesses to the event to come forward and help with inquiries.
The collision happened at 9am on the morning of Monday 11th November on the B4317 between Pontyates and Carway. It involved a red Mazda MX5 travelling towards Pontyates and a white Suzuki Alto travelling towards Carway.
Sadly on Tuesday evening the male driver of the Suzuki passed away at West Wales General Hospital. HM Coroner has been informed.
âIf anyone was travelling along this road at the relevant time on Monday and saw the collision Iâd appeal for them to get in touch with us,â said Sergeant Ian Price. âSimilarly, anyone who saw either of these two vehicles around the relevant time is asked to contact Carmarthenshire Roads Policing Unit at Carmarthen on 101.â
