“Police are appealing for information following a road traffic collision that occurred on the A48 between Carmarthen and Crosshands at the Llanddarog junction just before 11.10am this morning (Friday 15th November). Two vehicles were involved in the collision
Two people tragically sustained fatal injuries in the collision. Two other people were taken to West Wales General Hospital in Glangwili with what is believed to be minor injuries.
Next of kin have been advised.
The road has been closed in both directions between Carmarthen and Crosshands and will remain closed for a few hours for scene examination.
Any person travelling this road at the relevant time and witnessed the collision is asked to contact Carmarthenshire Roads Policing Team on 101”.
