Santa’s challenge to catch that pudding

TWO hundred Scarlet clad Santa’s will be chasing a Christmas pudding round Sandy Water Park on Sunday, December 1.

And buried under the brandy sauce and holly festooned pudding, like a hare to the hounds, will be a Scarlet’s player.

The sumptuous festive pud might usually be responsible for expanding waistlines this time of year but whole families of fundraisers in this full of fun event will be busting a gut to help boost British Heart Foundation funds.

The Chase the Pud Santa Dash is great fun whatever your athletic ability. Some Santas run, others walk, some will do a bit of both with Santas even stopping off at the pub half way round – although this isn’t on the official route.

The Dash is a great way to raise money for the BHFs life-saving research especially when you realise Coronary heart disease is recognised as the UK’s single biggest killer.

Scarlet Santa suits and whiskers will be provided as part of the £10 entry fee and all children turning up in fancy dress will have free entry.

Registrations will begin at 10am from The Sandpiper Restaurant, Llanelli, and there are a range of distances to suit any runner, jogger or walker.

All money raised from the event will help to fund the BHFs life-saving research.
