The last few weeks, the Wildlife Watch team have been sorting out some Wildlife Walks.

One of the places that we’ve visited was Ystalyfera Weir on the River Tawe where we saw the Salmon & Sea Trout leaping. We had a good number of people attend and they all had smiles on their faces after seeing one of Natures spectacles.

Its always nice to show others who are interested. All Wildlife Watchers had a really good time and enjoyed plus they had some stunning photos.

We will be going up each year if anyone is interested. After seeing some of our footage and photos across the net, ‘Other Wildlife Orgs are doing likewise and visiting the area. This can only be a good thing for Wildlife lovers and early learners.

Jo & Trixie have been out looking for good locations for the start of our Walks (Carmarthenshire Wildlife Walks). Our aim is to get more people interested in Nature & Wildlife, rather than being stuck in the house.

The first walk will be from the Pavilion cafe at Pwll to the Sand boat area then back to cafe. There is a chance of seeing anything on the walks from Sea birds to foxes, but really anything can turn up on the day.

Anyone interested in the walks or becoming a Walk Leader can message us via the Facebook Wildlife Walks page.

You can keep up to date on a daily basis with our page on Facebook, Carmarthenshire Wildlife Watch. Don’t forget that there’s a lot more pictures and comments are available on there too!. You too can take part in Carmarthenshire Wildlife Watch! How?

Simply look around your area whilst out walking and let us know what wildlife you see. Use your camera phone to video or to take pics. However, please don’t put yourself in harm’s way!

We’re also looking for sponsors, so if you’d like to promote your business and help the local wildlife then please let us know. Email info@llanellitown.com.
