The choristers of Cor Meibion Llanelli have raised nearly £200 for the Ty Bryngwyn Hospice Appeal by staging a charity concert at the Thomas Arms in Llanelli.
Choir chairman Mel Harries said: “We support the hospice appeal throughout the year with different events, including the annual Festival of Light in the St Elli Centre.
“The landlord and landlady of the Thomas Arms Hotel very kindly asked us to play at a special concert for the hospice appeal and the end result was an extra donation of nearly £200 for the charity.”
Mrs Susan Thomas, the secretary of the Ty Bryngwyn Hospice Fundraising Committee, said the appeal members were very grateful to the Thomas Arms and Cor Meibion Llanelli for their continued support.
