Calvin Lewis is a talented Llanelli guitarist who has been playing guitar for over 20 years and his influences include – Joe Satriani, Paul Gilbert, Killswitch Engage, Black Label Society, Pantera, Metallica

Calvin says he is purely a writing, recording artist but was formerly a member of Llanelli band ‘Stoned Dog’ and the band have featured in ‘Frontiers’ magazine and in ‘Kerrang’ magazine.

Calvin’s album Foundation of Freedom is available now. Calvin is very much a one man band and he plays all the guitars, Bass , Keyboards, strings and drum arrangements on his album and to top this off he also produced the album himself. Foundation of Freedom is  a guitar led solo music album and it rocks, twists and swings you round with its guitar licks, wah wah, overdrive and vibrato. A must listen to for guitarists and those who love guitar music.

The album can be downloaded for a small fee or listened to for free on the ‘Bandcamp’ website –  http://calvinlewis.bandcamp.com or on Soundcloud https://soundcloud.com/kotoryu

In the future Calvin aims to release another album or EP of guitar instrumental music in either late 2014 or early 2015. He is currently writing music for a project that will contain vocals and in the vein of the bands that have influenced him. All of the music will once again be written, played and recorded by Calvin however he is open to working with any local vocalists that fancy a side project ( writing some lyrics and turning up to put a vocal track down) Any one interested in working with Calvin can contact him via his email address on Calvin.lewis@hotmail.co.uk
