Carmarthenshire primary school pupils have joined others across the world in celebrating Fairtrade Fortnight.

Carmarthenshire County Council’s catering department laid on a special themed lunch to mark the event on Thursday (March 6) and used Fairtrade bananas as part of the meal.

Pupils tucked into tasty homemade spaghetti bolognaise with peas and garlic bread, followed by Fairtrade banana, ice cream and homemade hot chocolate sauce.
