Mums are in for a treat at the National Botanic Garden of Wales on Mothers’ Day.

Not only can they enjoy a local food and craft fair in the stunning Great Glasshouse, there will be music and dancing – and they get in FREE, in honour of their special day.

Why not treat mam or mam-gu to a great day out including lunch in our award-winning Seasons restaurant – at the biggest and best garden in Wales, on Sunday March 30.

There will be top-quality crafts on sale as well as fabulous local food and popular musical duo Fiddlebox will provide the musical entertainment along with acclaimed harpist Shelley Fairplay.

Head of marketing David Hardy, said: “This is the least we can do on this very special day. We hope that mums from far and wide will come along and take us up on this offer.

“The Garden is looking beautiful at the moment – it really is a perfect time to visit.”

March 30 also sees the annual start-of-season ‘crank-up’ by the Towy Valley Vintage Club, to mark the start of the season of displays and demonstrations by club members of a wide range of items including tractors, horticultural implements, stationary engines, cars, commercials, motorbikes and cycles.

The Garden is open from 10am until 4.30pm, with last entry at 3.30pm. Admission to the Garden is £8.50 (concessions £7) for adults and £4.50 for children. For more information about this or other events, call 01558 667149, email info@gardenofwales.org.uk or go to www.gardenofwales.org.uk
