There’s lots going on in Llanelli to celebrate mums on Saturday, March 29.
Make sure you visit Llanelli Market to get your Mother’s Day pressie; from cards, balloons and flowers to unique gifts, pampering bath and body soaps, clothing, accessories, make up and much more.
At Llanelli market children can get hands-on with a special Mother’s Day themed cookery workshop with Lisa Fearn of the Pumpkin Patch Cookery and Gardening School from 1.30pm to 4.30pm.
There will also be musical entertainment from Pwll harpist Sophie Brown between 11am and 1.30pm.
If you haven’t bought your mother anything yet make sure you enter a free raffle where you could win a grand hamper with lots of goodies for mum donated from the market traders.
Is your mother the best mam in Carmarthenshire? Then make sure you nominate her in the St Elli and Scarlet FM competition to be in with a chance to win goodies from the shops in St Elli Centre.
County Council executive board member responsible for markets in the county, Cllr Jeff Edmunds, said: “This is the latest of many events that Carmarthenshire County Council is putting on this year by working alongside the traders in a bid to encourage more shoppers to our county’s markets.”
