Carmarthenshire Wildlife Watch will be investigating Carmel Nature Reserve on Saturday 22nd March in the hope of documenting any wildlife. Wildlife expected will range from animals, birds to plants and fungi.

The investigation will be in the form of a wildlife walk led by qualified walk leaders Jo and Trixie. You are all welcome to join the walk which is free of charge and fully risk assessed / insured.

If you wish to join the walk please email Trixie on trixie@waleswildlifewatch.org.uk

Being as the car park is awkward to find we think that it is best we meet at 11.45 at the Stag and Pheasant pub on the road to Carmel. We can convoy from there. Please make sure you wear suitable footwear and clothing for the weather and this type of walk.

Be aware that on this walk you will encounter steep slopes, uneven, wet and muddy surfaces, fallen and overhanging branches. Also you will be near sheer drops and deep water. The breathtaking views, the beautiful nature and the chance of seeing wildlife make this walk very worthwhile.
