Police in Swansea are appealing for information following an attempted robbery at a shop in Gowerton.
The incident happened at the Nisa store in Sterry Road at around 6.40pm on Wednesday 26th March when the suspect entered the shop and asked a member of staff for money. He left the store when he was refused.
He is described as being male, white, 5ft 8ins to 5ft 9ins in height, of medium build, wearing a black top with three stripes down the arms, dark coloured jeans and white trainers. His face was partially covered with a scarf and he carried a rucksack on his back. The suspect turned right out of the store and made off in the general direction of Waunarlwydd.
Detective Constable Martin Thomas of Swansea CID said:
“We believe the suspect was seen hanging around outside the shop prior to the incident happening.
“We are appealing to anyone who may have seen him outside the store or anyone who has information about the incident to come forward.”
