Laugharne Youth Club has cleaned up the township to help showcase the area this weekend.
The youngsters spent three hours going from the Memorial Hall down to the Castle, and around the local shops, to clear rubbish.
They collected a total of eight bags, much of which had been washed up from the tide during the recent bad weather.
The work was in preparation for a major event taking place this weekend. Hundreds of visitors are expected to descend on the town for the Laugharne Weekend taking place from April 4 – 6.
The annual arts festival showcases literature and music and is extremely popular attracting people from across Wales and beyond.
The youth club has now decided to do future litter picks to help maintain the litter free township.
