We at Carmarthenshire Wildlife Watch welcome you all to join our walks.
We walk at a leisurely pace looking out for wildlife and enjoy looking at the nature, views and the scenery around us. Often, when we walk alone we fail to notice the beauty around us so walking with a group can help you to take notice of all the things you would normally miss.
All members of the group are very friendly and a good chat along the way is usual. We try to cater for all fitness abilities by doing different level walks, level 1 being easy and suitable for wheelchairs, prams etc to level 5 for those who like more of a challenging walk.
The beauty of these walks is that you get fresh air in your lungs, exercise and an uplifting feeling amongst many other benefits, and without even realising it! The walks are a pleasure, not a chore! Take your camera, binoculars or even a magnifying glass and explore with us. Children and dogs are welcome as long as they are looked after by a responsible adult, we can not take responsibility for them. Please also be aware that we can’t guarantee that the wildlife will grace us with it’s presence.
All our walk leaders are fully trained for walks and basic first aid, walks are fully risk assessed and we are insured through WWC so you can walk with us with peace of mind.
So, are you ready to join us? You can find out about our walks by checking out our Facebook page here or our website here
If you want to join a walk you can tell us on Facebook here or you can contact me Trixie on email at trixie@waleswildlifewatch.org.uk. Please do let us know if you intend joining a walk. We need to have an idea of numbers to ensure we have the correct amount of walk leaders for safety on the walk.
You can also email me with any queries or to be put on our mailing list to be notified of our walks.
