During our lovely walk yesterday we came across a very sad sight.
School leavers (we assume) had had a drinking party and a bonfire to burn their books. Sadly they didn’t care about the damage they caused and the accidents that could have happened.
The fire was still smouldering. An animal could have easily stepped on it, a child could have fallen on it, baby toads were everywhere etc etc. This selfish act could have caused so much more damage!
We really need kids to have more wildlife and nature education!!!
