his year’s Carmarthenshire National Eisteddfod Opening Gala is a chance for young people to present songs from popular musicals.
On Saturday, Wynne Evans, John-Owen Jones, Shan Cothi and Kizzy Crawford star in ‘100euon – a hundred years of Welsh songs’.
Events at the Pavilion include the Cymanfa Ganu on Sunday night, Noson Lawen on Monday, YFC’s on Tuesday night, and on Thursday, Fflur Wyn, Trystan Llyr Griffiths, and Gwion Tomos perform Faure’s Requiem and Messe Solennelle by Gounod.
On Friday night, Bryn Fôn performs on the Outdoor Stage, and to close the week, Mynediad am Ddim.
