Don’t forget to let us know if you will be joining us on our next walk at Kidwelly Quay.

You can let us know via our Facebook page here or email me: trixie@waleswildlifewatch.org.uk. The walk will start at 10am on 22nd July. All our walks are FREE and everyone is welcome to join us.

This is one of our favourite places; steeped in history, views to die for and jam-packed with wildlife of all descriptions!! It’s a great place to bring the kids to get them interested in nature and also a great place for a picnic! We’ll try to combine the walk with “The Big Butterfly Count” so bring your binoculars, if you have any!!

We’ll meet in the main carpark, overlooking the estuary and go for a leisurely bimble around the area. It is a relatively short walk ( a mile or so) but, depending on the abilities and interests of our walkers, the walk can be adapted to make it a little longer. It’s a great opportunity for practicing photography; both macro and landscape in a small but very diverse area.
